Outside:
There are extensive grounds to discover, including a woodland nature trail around the estate. The front lawn looks out over the panoramic views to Chichester and the coast, the perfect setting for a relaxed BBQ or more formal al-fresco entertaining.
The Space
Arrival is through the Reception Hall where high ceilings, a elegant staircase and a grand piano add to your stately entrance. The Drawing Room has big sofas gathered around the large fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences and flowing into the adjacent dining room. A breakfast table to the side is perfect for a relaxed breakfast.
The Master Bedroom Suite has a super king zip-link bed and stunning views south.
Bedroom 2 with a king size bed offers further southerly views, and an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath.
Bedroom 5 is another super king and leads into Bedroom 3, a huge semi-circular room with twin beds – a perfect setup for families .
Bedroom 4 is a super king size. There is also a shared family bathroom between Bedroom 4 and 5.
The main house sleeps a total of 10 guests.
Next to the main house, Yew Cottage is a detached one-bed annexe with its own kitchen, sitting room and en-suite walk-in shower. If required there is a day bed with additional pull-out in the sitting room creating a king size bed, increasing capacity to 4 in the cottage.
There is an additional bedroom, which offers a double sofa bed with en-suite. Leading to our superb games room which offers table tennis, darts, snooker table, gym, small kitchen.
Around and About:
This luxurious home offers stunning views of Chichester and the South Coast. With easy access to the Goodwood Estate, including the Racecourse, Golf Club, Motor circuit & Goodwood house in addition to annual events such as the Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and Members Meetings - all just a few minutes away. And if you feel like exploring, there are stunning walks on your doorstep, as well as West Dean Gardens & Arboretum, Weald & Downland museum and several local pubs to enjoy. Cowdray Estate is within close driving distance, hosting the Polo, golf course, Cowdray House and farm shop.
A Little Further Afield
West Wittering beach and sand dunes, Chichester Marina and Harbour are all in close proximity. Just a short drive and a little further afield you can explore harbourside pubs and walks at Itchenor and Bosham Harbour.
